MY BIGGEST CHALLENGE TO DATE

This floorcloth has been made for a great client of mine who constantly challenges me . We just redid her living room and this is the new motif . She sent me material and this is the floorcloth I've created for her WOW!!!! even blows me away....

Another new design for Dunberry Hill . We took an old hook rug design and twisted it a tad ....looks a little contemporary . With the ever so popular Brown and Blue color scheme!

Perfect for the Summer Cottage

The Rose Mariner Compass Design

The perfect floorcloth design  for a Summer cottage on the Cape
wouldn't you say. Johnnie knew the colors she wanted we did a few  test  samples before we got the best combinations she was looking for. The light blue  punch in the center and the mix of the 2 greens
on the outer border gave the floorcloth the needed accents she was looking for.
Couldn't think of a better place for it then a Summer white washed
cottage on the Cape ....

Open Studio

Voila.....17 ft of  The Glen Cole Design part II.....
"Exquiste"  was the clients comment back to me....
Nothing like the feeling of hand making it from blank canvas
to this..
You question yourself a lot but over time I've developed a
feel for each one I make. I love it and wouldn't  ever
consider cutting corners to make one......a true artist and quality products are my style!

Starting same pattern in a 8 x 9 so stay tuned!

17 ft runner on the new extension

The new extension to my smaller work table is working perfectly for
this 17 ft runner.
The client has chosen The Glen Cole Design with a new twist
I guess I'll have to call it " The Glen Cole 2"
Will post step by step so stay tuned....

Designer /Craftsman Show

Many "Thanks to all that came to see me at The Designer show in PA it was really a lovely show.  It's always such a breath taking experience to see all the truly talented artists. I always come away from shows with a better understanding of why I do what I do. To create and design each and every floorcloth  is a passion..... it's who I am and what I love! So, Thank you all for the wonderful compliments .

Just finished! This runner for a Summer home on Hilton Head....I wouldn't mind going with it..... LOVE Hilton Head. Matches Jean's kitchen decor and seems perfect for a Summer place. Light, clean, airy....

The design is the always popular Venetian Tile  as you've seen so often in so many different colors.

Just reading online Yahoo morning news article headline with picture attached "Top 10 states you may not want to retire in" due to the very high property tax's. The picture with the article was very familiar and I realized in was a home in Manchester a town close to where I live. OMG  I clicked and their we were #4 state of Vermont....followed closely by CT,MA,RI, rounding out the bottom 5 with ME and NY ...I think I'm all boxed in. Just doesn't seem right somehow...

Back to the beauty in life ....The Feathers and Berries Design to the left was my most popular design in 2011 hands down...looks so perfect their.... love it!

The Venetian Tile Design

This floorcloth has been "hands down" one of my most popular designs since I  started making floorcloths 8 years ago. We've made it in many different color schemes to match each clients decor, a lot of which you can view right on this web site in :"The Clients Gallery"

In this particular floorlcoth we created a new twist to the outside border. We've taken some of the design elements in the center square motifs and reconfigured them to create a unique element of detail in the outside border. I think it adds a nice flair to the floorcloth over all . We've created it to match Pamela's decor and she thinks "It's wonderful".
